Focus on French as communication tool through concentrated exposure and use of the language and involves compacting of the regular curriculum.

The Department of Education in New Brunswick has now completed an Intensive French Curriculum Guide for Grade 5 (pilot version). It was completed in February 2005 and is available by contacting David McFarlane at david.macfarlane@gnb.ca.
