Presently, there are 1054 images and descriptions in the collection.
Colour Canada - Colourcanada.com is a growing project that aims to make exploring and defining Canadian culture fun. This kid-friendly site is a great place to find printable pictures that tell the story of Canada, interesting places to travel in Canada, a collection of "Canadian" facts and a kiosk where you can purchase "Canadian" items (apparel, kits, and books).
Images Canada - Educational Resources - Two lesson plans and an idea bank structured around using primary sources have been developed for Images Canada: "An Early Canadian Photo Album" and "Using Pictures to Read the Past". The lesson plans include: detailed guidelines for educators, learning outcomes, expectations and objectives, suggested criteria for assessment, instructions for classroom use and worksheets.
Images Canada : Image Trails - Image Trails are pre-selected searches on a particular topic or theme, which yield between 50 and 150 images. When you click on an Image Trail, a selection of images related to that theme will be displayed from the collections of all Images Canada partners.
