Celebrating Languages
Celebrating Languages kit
2008 has been designated the International Year of Languages by the United Nations! In response, CASLT has developped this Celebrating the Year of Languages kit to increase multi-language awareness in classrooms, schools and communities.
This
classroom kit showcases the importance of learning languages and embracing other cultures through a series of multilingual posters and an accompanying teacher’s guide with classroom-ready activities.
Price:
$15.00 CDN for the kit, which includes 4 full colour glossy posters (18 inches wide by 24 inches long) and a teacher’s guide of suggested Language Week activities. The posters are great for decorating your language classroom or as reminders in the school hallways.
***Order complementary student bookmarks for your whole class: $5.00 for a set of 30! Bookmarks are unilingual and available in English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese. They feature the slogans from each of the four posters.
