What We Do
Our Advocacy
The Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers (CASLT) is committed to advancing second language teaching and learning across Canada through cooperation with partner organizations as part of our dedication to provide a cohesive voice and effective action on second language issues.
With its partners, CASLT has been active in the national response endorsing the federal government's Action Plan for Official Languages and also contributed significantly to the commissioned report, Plan 2013: Strategies for a National Approach in Second Language Education, (Rehorick, Bissonnette, Coltrinari, Forward, MacFarlane, and Turnbull, April 2004).
