I am an ethnomusicologist, and also a performer, working both as an artist and as an academic. I speak fluent French and Spanish, and reasonable Portuguese, as well as basic levels of Slavic languages, German and Hebrew. As well, I am a medievalist specializing in medieval Romance language songs. I have given many concerts and workshops - for all ages - through Mariposa In The Schools, as well as programmes in Spain and in Portugal, given in the respective languages.
