CASLT hosts between 6 and 8 Online Professional Learning (OPL) webinars each school year, targeted towards second language teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders. Our OPLs focus on delivering high-quality, research-based expertise with a focus on practical tips, tricks, strategies, and activities that L+ teachers can easily use in their classrooms.
We aim to offer each OPL in English and in French. OPLs typically take place on weekday evenings at 7pm ET via Zoom. They are recorded and stored in the CASLT Learning Centre for future asynchronous learning.
In addition to our OPLs, we also offer CASLT Chez-Vous (CCV) sessions: full- or half-day professional development events in partnership with a local organization. CCVs range from 3-8 hours in length and can take place either in person or online.
